Dean's Advisory Council Alumni Engagement

Parent and Family Philanthropy

Sending a child to college is a life-changing experience for a family and our goal is to enrich this chapter in their lives. The President’s Parent & Family Leadership Council represents the larger community of Purdue University parents and serves as an advisory group to the university through counsel, feedback, and support throughout the academic year. Our mission is to build a community to engage with the university through participation, service, and philanthropic support to invest in the educational and long-term success of our students.

Help the Next Generation

From the moment your student sets their sights on Purdue, you become a valued member of our Boilermaker family. Within Purdue University, the John Martinson Honors College boasts a storied legacy, and we are genuinely excited that you and your family will play a crucial role in shaping our promising future. Thanks to the generous contributions of our parents and families, we are able to offer essential resources that encourage our students to unlock their full potential and reach their loftiest aspirations.

Make a gift to any of the John Martinson Honors College funds and join us in our mission to prepare and empower our students for professional success and personal fulfillment.

A Message from the Parent Co-Chairs

We extend a warm welcome to all Purdue University families and want to share why we are excited to be part of the new President’s Parent & Family Leadership Council.

As parents our role has evolved, but our desire to create a positive impact continues. As a top-ranked program, we’re thrilled Purdue University values our feedback and considers parents important partners in the shared mission of providing exceptional education. The President’s Parent & Family Leadership Council is a unique opportunity to connect with university leadership through thoughtful discussion for enriching the Purdue experience for our students.

At this especially important time, please consider joining us as the President’s Parent & Family Leadership Council launches with the start of the 2023-2024 academic year. For more information, please contact Susie Budreau, parent of Tyler, ME ’10, and Daniel, EEE ’16, and Executive Director of Parent & Family Engagement & Advancement sbudrea@purdue.edu.

Best regards,
